| Related | Occasionally people ask about a rash after commencement of using our natural deodorant. There will be a period of adjustment when switching from antiperspirants to a natural deodorant. Some people will say that you are detoxing as the glands are opening up and allowed to sweat. Long term use of antiperspirants changes the types and number of bacteria that live in the armpit so it takes time for the body to re-adjust when using a natural deodorant as the microbiome in the armpit region changes. Human sweat is slightly acidic with a pH range of 4 to 6. The pH of perspiration varies from person to person and is affected by age, gender, race, medication, diet, or even hormonal changes. The natural pH of an individual?s sweat can actually cause an irritation or even a burning sensation when mixed with baking soda. Why? Baking soda is slightly alkaline with a pH range of 8 to 9. If your sweat is more on the acidic side, there may actually be a little chemical reaction between the alkaline baking soda and the acidic sweat. Think of the ?volcanoes? you made in science class with alkaline baking soda and acidic vinegar. If your sweat is more acidic, this little volcano can cause an irritation called ?Irritant Contact Dermatitis.? Apply the deodorant sparingly and gently while your body is making these adjustments. One million stars for this incredible deodorant! Nothing else I’ve tried comes close. Heading into my fourth summer using it, and not only does it prevent odour, its’ scent lasts and lasts. I get compliments all the time that I smell good when I wear it. Seriously, people at my fitness class have been known to hug me AFTER class, purely because I smell so great! The scent is lime, deepening to patchouli. I tell everyone about it! Well done, Corrynne’s team.

Amazing product! I had given up on natural deodorants because I just found that they only seemed to try and mask the odour with strong essential oils so you were left smelling pretty terrible and they didn’t solve the problem, but not this one. It leaves you feeling fresh and clean with a lovely lime/vanilla scent and actually does work! It’s great to know I never have to go back to chemical deodorants!

Spoke to the girls at Freo markets, who recommended this deodorant. I live in Darwin and it passed the Wet Season test with flying colours! Still smells good after a night of dancing and up here, during the wet, when we dance, we sweat! Actually, one only has to sit down, do nothing…..we still sweat! Best natural deodorant I’ve used. Good for the guys too.

Incedibly good natural deodorant. Is nice and soft and easy to apply and hands wash easily after applying. It works so well, nothing like any natural deodorant I have tried before. I don’t smell after using this and that is after a full day in the sun taking teenagers for their PE classes. Will continue to purchase.

This deodorant is amazing. A little goes a long way and smells amazing, subtle and not over powering. Best thing though is it works right through the day even in tropical Darwin. Another one Corrynne’s products my husband can’t be without.
