The first time I purchased this soap was around 2012 from the Fremantle Market and I’ve been buying it ever since. This is THE best soap for dogs in my opinion and I’m very fussy when it comes to products for my dogs.
I haven’t used flea/tick, or conventional worming option for over a decade. Holistic lifestyle is important for me and this soap adds an extra layer of protection for my three dogs.
n this time I’ve had fleas once on two dogs after visiting family. I took this soap, started at the neck until I had a thick lathering. Left it sitting on the dog while I spoilt them with an all over massage for a good 8 minutes and then rinsed well. For an after treatment for any flea bites I added an extra layer of apple cider vinegar and witch hazel 50/50 in a spray bottle and sprayed their underbelly where the bites were and within two days they were all healed and I’ve never had a problem with fleas, (or ticks) since. Thats the only treatment I did.
The third dog never had any fleas because I was putting the Amber Collar to the test… it worked and I’ve been using those and this soap on my three dogs since.
I love how it laves the coat soft and smelling amazing for a long time. My dogs have a bath once every season, unless there’s a good reason for an extra one.
